Today at CES 2025, Gigabyte announced two new, innovative QD-OLED monitors: the AORUS FO27Q5P and the GIGABYTE MO27U2.
The AORUS FO27Q5P offers the fastest refresh rate – 500Hz – in the QD-OLED segment, delivering never-before-seen motion clarity and image sharpness. It not only surpasses the VESA ClearMR (CMR 13000) threshold but will also pass the upcoming ClearMR 21000 standard, showing just how advanced the monitor is.
Not only that, but Gigabyte is also demonstrating its leadership in display technology, with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 supporting precise, deep blacks alongside vibrant colours.
It supports DP2.1 UHBR20, which provides a massive 80Gbps bandwidth (2.5 times that of DP 1.4). This, combined with its 500Hz refresh rate, makes it perfect for your gaming setup.
The GIGABYTE MO27U2 monitor is no slouch either, offering a 4K resolution at a 240Hz refresh rate, all in a 27-inch monitor. This resulting 166PPI delivers crystal clear visuals with accurate colours (delta E≤2 colour accuracy and Pantone Validated certification), making it ideal for those looking for a hybrid gaming setup.
Both new monitors feature GIGABYTE OLED Care, an AI-based panel protection system designed to prevent burn-in and ensure a consistent user experience.
For gamers, the monitors include upgraded Tactical Features with Tactical Switch 2.0, which gives the user the ability to switch resolutions and adjust the screen ratio. Other features include Night Vision, allowing users to spot other players/objects in dimly lit areas of the image
Gigabyte is promising more new toys for gamers at CES 2025, so check back here tomorrow night after their CES event for more.
