Samsung Galaxy Unpacked announced for January 23 – Galaxy S25 expected

While Samsung is busy announcing a range of new services, devices and more at CES, they’re also looking ahead, announcing their next Galaxy Unpacked event for January 22nd.

The event will take place in San Jose, California on Thursday, January 22nd at 10am, with the event live streamed on Samsung’s YouTube channel. For those of us playing at home, we’ll see an early start to the day if you want to tune in:

We expect to see the Galaxy S25 series unveiled, headlined by the Galaxy S25 Ultra which rumours suggest will retain the vaunted S Pen, as well as sporting more rounded corners and a super slim bezel.

The invite also seems to confirm the new rounded design, as well as suggesting we’ll see more Galaxy AI features announced

We can likely expect to see Qi2 charging, with Samsung being quoted in a release from the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) saying

The exceptional Qi2 growth story will continue in 2025. You can expect to see Android devices supporting Qi2 from Samsung Galaxy devices in 2025

Locally, Samsung Australia has opened up registrations on their website asking for details of devices you’re interested in and offering a few bonuses just by answering a few questions.

The offers include a chance to win one of four $25,000 unforgettable adventures, an exclusive $200 offer as well as the option to ‘purchase a $20 eVoucher that can be redeemed with the value of $100 on our latest Galaxy AI device for a limited time’.

As far as launch dates, the fine print in the Samsung website seems to suggest a February 14th launch, with offers being listed until 11:59pm on Feb 13.

We’ll have all the details of all the Galaxy S25 devices announced by Samsung here on EFTM as soon as they’re announced.
