At CES, ACER have taken to the stage to show off their latest upcoming devices including new Copilot+ PCs, Gaming hardware and more.
After launching last year, the new Copilot+ category of PCs are expanding with Acer announcing the Swift Go 16 and Swift Go 14 Copilot+ PCs powered by the new AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processors – as well as Swift Go 16 and Swift Go 14 powered by Intel’s Core Ultra 200H series processors.
There’s also the Aspire 14 AI laptop powered by up to Intel Core Ultra processors (Series 2).
The new ACER Copilot+ PCs will include AcerSense app, letting you select system modes, as well as accessing ACERs Experience zone housing their AI features including PurifiedVoice 2.0 and PurifiedView 2.0, for improved video and audio.
The new Swift Go 16 and Swift Go 14 will both come in 16” and 14” display sizes respectively, with a choice between IPS and OLED panels.
The laptops will include the new AMD Ryzen AI 300 CPUs which are based on Zen5 architecture. The new processors will utilise up to 8 high-performance cores and 16 threads with AMD XDNA 2 NPU capable of up to 50 Trillion Operations Per Second (TOPS) and the latest AMD Radeon 800M graphics.
ACER says the new Swift Go laptops can last over 24 hours on just video playback, and include a QHD resolution IR camera and DTS X audio.
The Acer Swift Go 14 AI (SFG14-64/T) will be available in Australia in April, starting at AUD$1,799. The Acer Swift Go 16 AI (SFG16-61/T) will be available in Australia in April, starting at AUD $1,599.
If you’re not confused already, the new Swift Go 14 and Swift Go 16 will be powered by the newly announced Intel Core Ultra 200H series processors and include integrated Intel Arc graphics.
These Intel powered Swift Go laptops deliver up to 99 TOPS total according to ACER, for ‘efficient handling of demanding projects and up to 27.5 hours of video playback’.
The Swift Go 14 and Swift Go 16 will be available with up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory and up to 2 TB of M.2 SSD storage.
The Intel powered Swift Go 14 and Swift Go 16 will include 3K OLED display that include a lay-flat 180°hinge to make sharing your work easy.
They’ll include Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for smooth wireless connections, with dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, and a HDMI 2.1 port alongside a microSD card slot.
The laptop also includes an IR capable QHD resolution webcam and comes with DTS:X® Ultra audio.
You’ll be able to get your hands on the Acer Swift Go 16 (SFG16-73) and Acer Swift Go 14 (SFG14-74) in Australia from Q2 2025. The starting at AUD 1,899. The Acer Swift Go 14 will start at $1,799, while the Swift Go 16 will start at $1,899.
The Aspire 14 will include a 14” display attached to the main body using a 180° lay-flat hinge with a body weighing in at just 1.4kg.
Powered by Intel’s Core Ultra Processors (Series 2) with integrated NPU, the laptop also includes 32 GB LPDDR5X memory and comes with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, with Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C) and HDMI ports for external connections.
The Acer Aspire 14 AI (A14-52M/A14-52MT) will be available in Australia in April, starting at AUD $1,599.
Acer has also expanded their Nitro V gaming laptops, introducing the Acer Nitro V AI gaming laptop line, and Nitro V 15 Gaming laptop.
Powered by AMD’s latest Ryzen AI 7 350 processor – based on the new “Zen 5” architecture, the ACER Nitro V AI laptops are Copilot+ capable, with an NPU capable of up to 50 TOPs, the new Nitro V AI Laptop lineup is ready to go.
ACERs first model is the Acer Nitro V 16 AI, which will come with a 16” display in either FHD+ or QHD resolution and powered by up to a AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor with up to 32 GB of memory and 2 TB of storage with DTS:X audio and a FHD resolution IR webcam.
ACER is listing the Nitro V 16 AI with Wi-Fi 6E, as well as Bluetooth 5.3, and there’s USB4 ( USB-C) as well as USB-A ports on-board as well as a HDMI 2.1 port and microSD card reader.
If you want something slightly smaller for gaming, the new Nitro V 15 (ANV15-52) is powered by up to an Intel Core 7 processor 240H, with dedicated AI.
The Nitro V 15 includes a 15.6-inch FHD (1920×1080) resolution display with up to 180 Hz refresh rate and 3ms response.
Powered by up to a Core 7 processor, the laptop also comes with an NVIDIA RTX 4050 laptop GPU, and 32GB DDR5 RAM and 2TB M.2 SSD.
You’ll get DTS:X audio, and WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, as well as Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C), as well as USB Type-A ports and HDMI.
You’ll be able to get your hands on the Nitro V 16 AI (ANV16-61) and Nitro V 15 (ANV15-52) when they land in Australia in Q2. Pricing is yet to be advised, so we’ll have more info closer to launch.
Acer has also announced a new mobile gaming controller, jumping into the fray to offer a foldable device that connects easily to your Android or iOS device.
Acer says the Nitrol Mobile Gaming Controller is plug and play, easily accommodating devices with displays up to 8.3” – even with a case. The controller connects to your phone via USB Type-C connection which supports pass-through so you can keep your device charged while you play.
The unit will come with rubber pads and secure grips to keep it mounted securely inside while you play, letting you hold it and play comfortably for hours.
The Acer Nitro Mobile Gaming Controller will be available in Australia from Q2 2025, pricing TBA.
