SunBooster: Brings the power of natural sunlight to your desk

For regular listeners of the Huberman Lab Podcast, you would have heard him discuss the importance of getting natural sunlight. In fact, he lists sunlight as one of his top five factors for optimal health and performance. On display at Unveiled, the exclusive press event at CES2025, SunLED SunBooster brings the benefits of natural light indoors!

The SunBooster is an innovative Near-Infrared light device that attaches to computers and laptops and with many people spending 90% of their waking hours indoors, there is a clear deprivation of Near-Infrared light – the essential part of sunlight that makes up 50% of natural solar radiation. The patented technology utilises 850nm Near-Infrared LEDs with narrow-beam optics, designed to deliver precise doses of NIR light. The device integrates into daily routines through smart features including automatic activation sensors and Bluetooth connectivity for data tracking.

The benefits of just 5-10 minutes of sunlight exposure is said to regulate circadian rhythms and boost cortisol at optimal times. Many people find this challenging due to work schedules or climate constraints. SunBooster offers a practical solution, delivering NIR light – the missing component in indoor lighting that even window filtered sunlight cannot provide.

An interesting product designed to improve an area of health and wellbeing. Will it be available in Australia? Time will tell.
