Apple has announced that the Apple TV app is now available on Android mobile devices, including tablets and foldables. This means Android users can watch Apple TV+ content on the go, including their Major League Soccer live streams.
The app has been built specifically for Android, and allows for features like “Continue Watching” from other devices.
It’s five years or more since Apple TV+ launched, so this is long overdue, with Android users likely discovering shows like Slow Horses, Silo, Severence, Shrinking and many many more.
Apple doesn’t appear to have shoved their own design language down the throat of Android users, instead it uses regular Android menu styles across the apps.
Apple TV on Android also allows for Downloads to the device for offline viewing.
