An AirTag with a ten year battery life? Check out the Time Capsule from Elevation Lab

I just love the Apple AirTag, one of the great tech creations – I know where my luggage is, I know where my keys are and I’ll never lose my backpack. But, I’m a forgetful person – AirTag users probably are – so how good is the battery on your AirTag?

Having just opened the FindMy app, I can tell you out of the ten I have, three have no battery, three have low battery. The AirTag in my car – died a year ago.

Enter the Time Capsule, at $38.95 it will give your AirTag a ten year battery life.

To be clear, this is a product that works with an existing Apple AirTag – it does not have Apple FindMy built into it. What you’re doing essentially is replacing that little CR2032 battery inside the AirTag with two Double A (AA) batteries.

You do this by taking the “brains” of the AirTag, the white bit, and putting it inside the Elevation Lab Time Capsule, and then putting the batteries in. Seal it up with the included screws using the Allen key provided and you’ve got an IP69 rated waterproof AirTag that will last for ten years!

You can get a two pack of them for $64.95 so honestly, one for the car, the backpack, tuck one inside the luggage and hey – we’re looking like I’m going to need a few!

Good value, easy to use, upgrade your AirTags now!
