Ring has announced the latest addition to its security camera lineup with the Outdoor Camera Plus, delivering Ring’s best quality video so far.
The Outdoor Camera Plus offers a first for Ring: 2K resolution out of the box. But that’s not all—there’s also a wide field of view and Low-Light Sight technology. Low-light sight technology uses advanced image processing algorithms to deliver a clear, colourful view even in near-dark conditions.
Combined with Ring’s mature and extensive security camera software, the Outdoor Camera Plus delivers industry-leading video matched with premium features. It is designed for use indoors or outdoors, is weather-resistant, and is easy to mount. It can be powered by a battery, plugged into a wall socket, or even solar.
All the usual Ring software is included so you can be sure you will capture all moments of motion in your cameras in vivid, bright, crisp, 2K resolution. The Outdoor Camera Plus also supports two-way voice talk and Alexa-enabled devices to stream Live View.
Outdoor Camera Plus is available for pre-order today for $179 AUD and $179 NZD on Ring.com, Amazon.com.au, and select retailers in Australia and New Zealand, including jbhifi.com.au, jbhifi.co.nz, and noelleeming.co.nz. The devices will start shipping to customers on March 27, 2025.
