At their event in Sydney this evening, Anker have expanded their range of home battery solutions, with the Anker Solix X1.
The Anker Solix X1 is a new addition to the Anker Solix range, expanding from the Solix AC Coupled systems launched last year which are aimed at customers upgrading existing solar setups. The new Anker Solix X1 offers both Hybrid Three Phase and Hybrid Single Phase options and are aimed for Australians looking to ‘introduce or start their green or solar energy journey’.
Designed with an ultra-minimalist aesthetic, the Anker Solix X1 is just 15cm wide, and comes in sandstone grey with C5-M corrosion resistanceIt carries an IP66 rating and it’s rated for the harsh Australian summers and winters with ability to stand temperatures ranging from -20°C to 55°C thanks to a built-in thermal controller.
The battery itself is modular and allows for flexible expansion with each battery in the stack acting independently when charging and discharging. There’s also a range of capacities available 5kWh – 180kWh and power outputs between 3.68kW – 72kW.
The battery itself has an on-board intelligent energy management system which offers three modes, Self Consumption to harness solar power during the day to charge the battery and power the home, Time of Use mode, which intelligently switching between charging and discharging when energy prices change and Off Grid mode, which just uses the solar panels and X1 battery for power.
