Netgear has announced that joining the Orbi 770 and the Orbi 970 systems as part of their Wi-Fi 7 home networking portfolio will be the Orbi 870, offering more choice to customers and allowing them to choose the solution that best fits their needs.
The Orbi 870 specifications include:
All Netgear routers include standard security features such as automatic firmware updates, VPN support, cutting-edge WPA3 security, access control, and guest and IoT WiFi network options. The Orbi 870 also includes Netgear’s Advanced Router Protection feature to protect the router from threats using AI and advanced exploit prevention.
It also enables the ability to quickly apply live patches for threats without having to wait for firmware updates to be rolled out. The Orbi 870 series also includes a 30-day trial of NETGEAR Armor™ Powered by Bitdefender to provide an additional automatic shield of security for connected devices and added privacy with VPN.
The Netgear Orbi 870 series also includes Smart Parental Controls to manage your kids’ time online. Some features of the app require a premium subscription.
