Sennheiser now has their own open earbuds, the ACCENTUM OPEN, with an improved sound quality

Sennheiser has announced the Australian availability of its new true wireless open earbud, the ACCENTUM OPEN. The ACCENTUM OPEN is designed for users who use their earbuds for many reasons, often all at once.

ACCENTUM Open was designed to complement your busy life—not complicate it,” said Friederike Menking, Product Manager. “Whether you are listening to music, catching up on a podcast at your desk or checking in with your friends on your way to the train, the ease of use is second only to the sound.

The ACCENTUM OPEN offers high-quality sound thanks to an 11mm dynamic transducer located just outside the ear canal. The earbud sits and fits just outside the ear canal to prevent ear fatigue and provide awareness of your surroundings. The increased comfort of the new earbuds allows you to wear them for a long time without the need for any clips or ear adapters.

Bluetooth 5.3 support helps them deliver multipoint connectivity such as a laptop and your smartphone at the same time. The earbuds include dual beam-forming microphones to provide high-quality calls and the ability to filter out background noise.

You will barely notice you are wearing the new ACCENTUM OPEN thanks to each earbud weighing just 4.4 grams. They still offer up to 6.5 hours of playback in each earbud and a total of 28 hours when charged using the compact charging case. The case includes support for fast charging with just 10 minutes of charging capable of delivering up to 1.5 hours of listening time.

The ACCENTUM Open is available in Cream and Black exclusively through the Sennheiser official online store https://www.sennheiser-hearing.com/en-au/p/accentumopen/ and JB Hi-Fi, both online and in-store, at a recommended retail price of 9.95 AUD.
