Swann’s MaxRanger4K lineup was expanded at CES back in January, and today Swann have announced that the MaxRanger4K Long-Range Wireless Video Doorbell and the MaxRanger4K Mini Long-Range Wireless Security System are heading to Australia.
The first to arrive will be the MaxRanger4K Mini Long-Range Wireless Security System, which is available from today, while the MaxRanger4K Wireless Video Doorbell will be available from June.
The new additions build on the original original MaxRanger4K Solar Security System launched in 2024, adding long range smart wireless cameras

The MaxRanger4K Mini Long-Range Wireless Security System is the perfect entry-level solution for homes, schools and businesses, says Swann, with the system supporting Wi-Fi HaLow, offering coverage up to 300m with line of sight, or 100m through obstacles.
The system includes heat and motion sensors with people and vehicle detection, all captured in 4K. The sensors allow you to capture video in rich colour video in both day and night, with the ability to zoom in up to 15x to check out what’s going on in the Swann Security app, with footage stored locally for security.
The cameras include a siren, as well as a light for alerting as well as illuminating an area if needed, as well as the ability to speak through the cameras using the app.
The MaxRanger4K Mini Long-Range Wireless Security System comes with a base station, and is available in a two ($499.95), three ($698.95) or four ($899.95) camera kits, with additional cameras also available for $199.95 if you need more.

Coming in June is their new MaxRanger4K Long-Range Wireless Video doorbell offering a staggering 300m of wireless range, and offering an AI-powered voice assistant.
The doorbell includes a 4K sensor with Infrared night vision to let you see clearly up to 10m in the dark. Like the MaxRanger4K Mini, the MaxRanger4K Long-Range Wireless Video doorbell also includes advanced heat, motion, person and vehicle-sensing technology, all of which can be managed on your phone through the Swann Security app.
The app also allows for 2-way communication to let you speak with visitors, or you can engage Swann’s AI-powered voice assistant, SwannShield, which can talk with your guests, manages deliveries and even deter potential criminals all by itself, and in 100 languages.
Trev was pretty impressed when he tried out the AI-assistant, so now anyone needing to put a doorbell out to up to 300m in clear line of site, or 100m with obstacles can give it a go.
The unit comes with a chime so you can tell when someone has pressed it, or you can get notifications on your phone. You will need to pair it with a MaxRanger4K Base Station to get it up and running though.
Video is stored on the device on an included 32GB MicroSD card with option to backup clips to your Dropbox or you can upgrade to optional cloud storage.
The MaxRanger4K Long-Range Wireless Video Doorbell will arrive in Australia next month in June for 9.95, through the Swann website and from retailers including JB Hi-Fi, Bunnings Warehouse, Harvey Norman and Amazon.
