LG wins numerous honours at IFA’s inaugural Innovation Awards

LG have won a staggering 17 awards at the inaugural Innovation Awards at IFA 2025 in Berlin including the top distinction, Best of IFA title.

The Best of IFA prize was awarded to the LG Signature OLED T – the world’s first wireless, transparent TV. The same TV also won Best in Home Entertainment.

LG also had the honour of winning in additional “Best “categories including

  • Mobility – for their Spielraum Concept. An AI-driven smart life solutions in collaboration with Kia’s Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) technology
  • Accessibility – The LG Comfort Kit was designed to make it easier for those with disabilities to use the company’s appliances
  • Home Appliances – AI Sense Clean Dishwasher and Microplastic Filter. The dishwasher’s intelligent wash system optimises cycles and wash time based on load size and soil levels, while the filter removes microplastics released during the laundry cycle

LG was also given Honouree distinctions across numerous categories

  • Best of Home Appliances category – 4 recognitions for it’s laundry and cleaning range
  • Best in Design category – Washer & Tumble Dryer Pair, TrueSteam™ dishwasher, LG Massage recliners and Styler Mini
  • Best in Smart Home category – the LG Robot Vacuum with Objet Station
  • Home Entertainment category – for the LG Wireless OLED TV (M5) and the LG StanbyME 2

Not all prize-winning appliances are available here in Australia but no doubt the age of the smarthome has arrived in a big way with some exciting machines hopefully to come our way soon.
