Roborock goes outdoors with it’s first Robot Lawnmowers the RockMow and RockNeo

Following a trend we’ve seen from other home robotics companies Roborock has use the IFA show in Berlin to announce their first robotic lawnmowers – two models and there’s a strong chance they’re heading downunder.

We’ve already seen Ecovacs open the back door and head into the garden with their “GOAT” model and Dreame too has a robot mower in Australia, so it makes sense to think that Roborock won’t waste too much time bringing both these new models to Australia.

Roborock calls the lineup “groundbreaking”, and say it’s been “designed to redefine lawn care” – we’ll see what that means, but, leveraging their years of experience with robot vacuums using AI powered navigation as well as precision control and automation it just makes sense to take those learnings to the back yard.

There’s actually three models, the RockMow Z1, the RockMow S1 and the RockNeo Q1.

A crucial feature that stands Roborock out from the rest is All-Wheel-Drive, using four motors for independent in-wheel power which should make for great traction on a range of different lawn surfaces as well as up to 39 degree slopes.

We’ll check them out at the show this week, but no word yet on just when they’ll hit Australia or at what price.

EFTM’s coverage of IFA 2025 is supported in part by Belkin, Ecovacs, ReoLink and Samsung
