LG Sound Suite powered by Dolby Atmos FlexConnect is set to make your wireless audio setup easier

CES is definitely a big source of A/V innovations, and LG has announced their new LG Sound Suite – a new flexible home audio system which adapts to your needs without complicated setup.

The LG Sound Suite uses Dolby Atmos FlexConnect, with the H7 Soundbar at the core of the system delivering Dolby Atmos sound to your TV.

The H7 Soundbar, powered by the  LG α (Alpha) 11 AI Processor Gen 3 – the same processor that powers their top of the line OLED TVs, acts as a sort of hub to seamlessly pair together the TV sound system with wireless speakers.

To do this, LG is also bringing support for Dolby Atmos FlexConnect to their upcoming 2026 premium TV lineup, as well as their 2025 range through a software update down the track.

The key to the FlexConnect and LG Sound Suite system is flexibility with the H7 sound bar able to pair with the wireless M7 and M6 surround speakers as well as the W7 Subwoofer. The LG Sound Suite can be configured in up to 27 different configurations, all the way up to a full 13.1.7 home theatre system.

While it’s using Dolby Atmos FlexConnect, LG has added their own layer, with Sound Follow utilising the ThinQ app and ultra-wideband (UWB) to find the user in the room and adjust the listening sweet spot of the speakers to target them.

Lee Jeong-seok, head of the LG Media Entertainment Solution Company’s Audio Business Division said

Together with Dolby, we’ve made immersive audio flexible for every home, LG Sound Suite is a testament to our shared focus on audio innovation. LG Sound Suite combines Dolby Atmos FlexConnect with its wireless technology and AI-driven tuning, so consumers can create the system they want and enjoy cinematic sound from any seat.

LG will be showcasing the Sound Suite system at their booth in Las Vegas next month when CES kicks off on January 6th.
