LG set to unveil its flagship Micro RGB TV at CES 2026

LG has announced that it will reveal its Micro RGB evo at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, featuring its smallest RGB LEDs.

The Micro RGB technology in the new TVs, a CES 2026 Innovation Awards winner, leverages LG OLED’s “technical excellence” to control the micro RGB LED backlights with precision. Driven by the upgraded Dual AI Engine-based α (Alpha) 11 AI Processor Gen 3, the control delivers natural images with an unmatched level of clarity.

The increased processing power enables Dual Super Upscaling and RGB Primary Colour Ultra to deliver the best colour reproduction in an LG LCD to date. The display is certified by Intertek for 100 percent colour gamut coverage in BT.2020, DCI-P3, and Adobe RGB, ensuring colour accuracy for all tasks you may wish to use the TV for, including digital editing and HDR cinema.

The optimal contrast performance on the new micro RGB TVs is enhanced by Micro Dimming Ultra, which accurately controls more than a thousand dimming zones on the TV.

The Multi-AI technology integrates with both Mocrisoft Copilot and Google Gemini. It features Voice ID, AI Picture/Sound Wizard, AI Concierge, AI Chatbot, AI Search and a tailored “My Page” home screen for your smart, personalised content experience.

“Achieving the utmost visual fidelity is the goal of any display, and with the LG Micro RGB evo, we have achieved a milestone previously thought impossible for this category,” said Park Hyoung-sei, president of the LG Media Entertainment Solution Company. “This launch marks the evolution of the RGB TV, redefining industry colour fidelity standards to offer uncompromising performance for customers who demand exceptional colour accuracy.”

The LG Micro RGB evo (model MRGB95) will be available in 100-inch, 86-inch and 75-inch sizes. Local pricing and availability will be supplied when available.
