Samsung unveil its new Odyssey gaming monitors prior to CES 2026 including a 6K glasses-free 3D gaming monitor

Ahead of CES 2026, Samsung has announced its new Odyssey gaming monitor lineup, featuring five new models across the range, headlined by Samsung’s first 6K 3D Odyssey G9.

Odyssey 3D: The World’s First 6K Glasses-Free 3D Gaming Monitor

The new 32-inch Odyssey 3D (G90XH model) delivers the world’s first 6K display with glasses-free 3D.  The 3D monitor features real-time eye-tracking to adjust the depth and perspective in response to the user’s position for uninterrupted gaming.

The 6K resolution and standard 165Hz refresh rate, which can be boosted to 330Hz through Dual Mode, alongside a 1ms GtG response time, ensure gaming stays sharp and fluid at all times.  At this stage, games such as The First Berserker: Khazan, Lies of P: Overture, and Stellar Blade will offer 3D effects, with more supporting games to be added in the future.

Samsung Australia has not confirmed pricing or local availability for this monitor at this time.

Odyssey G6: The World’s First 1,040Hz Refresh Rate for High-Speed Gaming

The 27-inch Odyssey G6 (G60H model) gaming monitor also brings a competitive gaming edge thanks to its 1,040Hz refresh rate – the world’s first monitor at this resolution.  It uses Dual Mode to achieve this refresh rate with the native QHD resolution supporting a refresh rate of up to 600Hz.  This results in unmatched motion clarity, allowing gamers to track fast-paced movements easily.

The Odyssey G6 will be available in Australia but pricing and availability is yet to be announced.

Odyssey G8: A High-Resolution Choice Across 6K, 5K and OLED

The Odyssey G8 series will add three new models to its lineup, each offering distinct resolutions and speeds.  The 32-inch Odyssey G8 (G80HS model) delivers 6K resolution with a native 165Hz refresh rate, and Dual Mode enabling a faster 330Hz refresh rate at 3K resolution.

The 27-inch Odyssey G8 (G80HF model) provides a 5K option with native support up to 180Hz, and with Dual Mode boosting to 360Hz in QHD for smoother gaming.

The whole series of Odyssey G8 monitors will join Samsung Australia’s 2026 lineup but pricing and availability is yet to be announced.
