Unique $2 million Maserati MCXtrema Australia for one lucky owner

Imagine you’re doing very, very well. And, add to that you don’t just love motorsport, you love being on track. So if there was a car you could take on track and know – with certainty you’re the only one out there driving it – you’d snap it up.

Of course, a recent Powerball win might be necessary to make that a reality, but for one Aussie customer of Maserati – it sure is because while there’s no price tag available on an online configurator like there is with a Corolla, it’s estimated this special Maserati MCXtrema has a price tag of around $2,000,000!

Why? Well, 730 horsepower makes it the most powerful Maserati Track car ever.

Add to that there’s just 62 of them being produced – full stop..

This one lucky Aussie customer has taken delivery of this beast in Modena, Italy – what a day. Imagine taking that around an Aussie race track – where it’s destined to turn heads.

You’ll never see it on the road, it simply cannot be road-registered – but I’ve no doubt it will be seen at track days.

Twin turbo 3.0litre V6 powers it, using F1 inspired technology to push it to 730hp over and above the road-car’s 621.

“We are so proud to see the passion for Maserati in Australia,” said Grant Barling, the General Manager of Australia and New Zealand.

“The Maserati MCXtrema is a piece of automotive history and no doubt a future classic – reinforcing the confidence that our most discerning customers have for this iconic brand.

“The Maserati MCXtrema signals another significant milestone when it arrives in Australia in 2026 – the year we celebrate 100 years of Maserati in racing.

“Next year will mark 100 years since Alfieri Maserati achieved class victory in the 1926 Targa Florio in Italy, driving the Maserati Tipo 26, the first car built by Maserati.”

As you’d hope when you pay this much money, each one is customised – so there’s never going to be another one like this. But, this first one is predominantly blue and white, with this customer choosing an iconic Maserati colour Blu Nobile – to differentiate from the standard racing blue in the “catalogue”.

The White is Bianco Audace Matte – just in case you’re thinking of speccing one up.

Whoever they are – they’re “doing very well”
