OPPO Find N6 foldable coming to Australia in April with the world’s first Zero-Feel Crease

After teasing the device for several months, OPPO has unveiled their latest foldable overnight with the launch of the Find N6: The World’s First Zero-Feel Crease Foldable and it’s coming to Australia.

The phone will feature a 6.62” outer display which folds out to reveal the 8.12” inner display – with the big feature of course the ‘zero-feel crease’.

The zero-feel crease is the result of a number of improvements, including the new 2nd-Generation Titanium Flexion Hinge using a 3D Liquid Printing technology which keeps the hinge consistent. The display also uses ‘Auto-Smoothing Flex Glass’ which works in concert with the hinge to smooth out potential deformations before they become permanent.

The new hinge comes with  IP56, IP58, and IP59 dust and water resistance certifications but still retains a slim profile at just 8.93mm and weighs in at just 225g, slightly thicker and heavier than both the Galazy Z Fold7 and recently released Honor Magic V5.

OPPO will be launching the Find N6 in two colour options: Stellar Titanium, and the absolutely gorgeously vibrant Blossom Orange, featuring gold accents integrated into the titanium alloy hinge casing.

Michael Tran, Managing Director of OPPO Australia said

Foldables have always promised a bigger, more immersive smartphone experience, but the crease has been one of the biggest barriers to that promise being fully realised. With Find N6, OPPO has solved one of the category’s most talked-about challenges with the world’s first Zero-Feel Crease. We’re excited to bring the Find N Series back to Australia with our most advanced foldable yet.

To work with the zero-feel crease display, OPPO has also introduced the OPPO AI Pen, a stylus that can not only boost your productivity on-device with quick note suppor, as well as AI powered features including Circle to Capture, AI Chart, and AI Image which let you capture, transform and work with tables, sketches and handwritten notes – and it also acts as a laser pointer for presentations.

The OPPO Find N6 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform, and comes with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage – with a massive 6,000mAh Silicon Carbide battery included offering all-day battery life and supports OPPO’s SuperVOOC 80W wired, and 50W AirVOOC wireless charging.

OPPO is continuing their partnership with camera legend Hasselblad, with the Find N6 debuting the all-new Hasselblad Master Camera System. The new system includes a 200MP Hasselblad Ultra-Clear Main Camera which supports 4K 60fps video recording in Dolby Vision. There’s also a 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 120° field of view which captures 50% more light than the previous generation and lastly a  50MP telephoto sensor that includes a 3x optical zoom which also comes with tele-macro.

The system uses the True Color Camera, first introduced on Find X9 Series, which offers highly accurate white balance so you can guarantee you’re capturing the most natural colour in each shot.

The camera system supports Hasselblad Portrait Mode which supports improved bokeh for portrait shots, and includes Hasselblad Master Mode which includes full manual control but is tuned to match the colour characteristics of Hasselblad’s X2D camera.

In terms of availability, the OPPO Find N6 will be available to pre-order in Australia from the 2nd of April via OPPO Australia’s Online Store and JB Hi-Fi for RRP,299, the OPPO AI Pen will also be available for  RRP9 with the phone and pen launching on April 16th through OPPO Australia’s Online Store, JB Hi-Fi and Vodafone.
