Stunning open-top Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 gets it’s staggering Aussie pricetag

This article is for those who appreciate the sheer beauty of a stunning automobile, and for those that lust after something unique and desirable in the hope they win lotto. The Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 is the premium stunner based on the SL Roadster and it made it’s debut at this years Australian Grand Prix.

On show for the lucky few at Mercedes premium Lounge, trackside at Albert Park for the Formula One, this is something you’ll struggle to find a bad angle of.

A throbbing 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine capable of 430kW and 800Nm delivered to all four wheels results in a 0-100 time of 4.1 seconds. In a Maybach!

The grille is all Maybach, plus there’s the Obsidian Black painted bonnet and 21 inch forged alloy wheels which for ,900 you can upgrade to a multi-spoke design.

Don’t worry it’s got all the good Mercedes tech too – Augmented Reality, 5G connectivity, Wireless charging for your phone and of course, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

All that, for just 3,900 plus on roads. Loose change those on-road costs if you’re shopping for a Maybach!

Hey, we can all dream right?
