The LEGO Group has broadened their their offering to F1 fans by introducing two new sets for fans to build which replicate the driver helmets of Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc.
Joining the many LEGO F1 Sets revealed last year, these sets were launched at the Australian Grand Prix with Lewis and Charles carrying life-sized LEGO replicas of their 2025 helmets to celebrate the availability of the smaller mini helmet sets for fans.
Charles Leclerc’s mini helmet set is 886 peices and comes with a small stand and plaque with Charles’ signature, and features the iconic Ferrari Prancing Horse, along with his tributes to his late father and great mate Jules Bianchi. The minifigure is a recreation of Charles as the 2024 Monaco F1 Grand Prix winner.
The Lewis Hamilton helmet set is an 884 piece display set which features the first ever Lewis Hamilton Mini Figure in his red Ferrari racing suit.
John Ho, Model Design Master at the LEGO Group, said: “As a fan of the sport I am delighted to reveal these two sets coming to all Tifosi and fellow fans soon. It was an absolute pleasure to get to work on these sets with a team of fellow passionate and talented designers. The unique curves and intricate details from the helmets presented a fascinating opportunity, and our team worked passionately to ensure every aspect was captured. Seeing them come to life, in a new scale, in Melbourne in the hands of two of the best drivers in the world is such a proud moment for the whole team.”
Both sets go on sale May 1st, and sell in Australia for 9.99. Pre orders start now for the Leclerc and Hamilton helmet sets.
One has to wonder what the LEGO Group could sell these life-sized replicas for though? Count me in.
Both the life-sized one of a kind replicas were built by Aussie icon Ryan “Brickman” McNaught and his team, and each took 60 hours to build!
