Uniden is rolling out an update that will allow its SOLO X2K PT PRO security cameras to follow movement across your yard

Uniden has unveiled a new software package for its SOLO X2K PT PRO security camera range, providing users with advanced motion-tracking capabilities.

The new software update will roll out automatically and enable Uniden’s pan-and-tilt cameras to follow the subject in the field of view, keeping it front and centre as the subject moves across your yard/house.

The update will support the entire SOLO X2K PT PRO range, enhancing their already impressive features such as 24/7 continuous recording and adaptive frame rates.

Brad Hales, Head of Marketing, Oceania at Uniden, said, “Customers want security that’s smarter and simpler, and great software is a big part of that. This update automatically adds motion tracking to our SOLO X2K PT PRO range, providing improved coverage for property owners. Combined with pan and tilt, continuous recording through OnWatch Technology, and our no-subscription approach, it’s another step toward giving Australians more choice and more peace of mind.”

The new update ensures that activity and its context are fully recorded as it moves across the field of view, something standard cameras may miss.  This allows for easier capture and viewing of footage of movement across yards, driveways and more.

The SOLO X2K PT PRO security camera range features no subscription fees and includes a 7-day rolling cloud backup for life and a 32GB microSD card for dual recording.

The Uniden SOLO X2K PRO range is available through leading Australian retailers and online at www.uniden.com.au
