Midea announces their new “Easy-Lift” dishwasher with more space and a cool party trick

Global appliance name Midea has announced the release of their newest dishwasher that will give the Tardis a run for it’s money when it comes to space plus it has a unique feature I’ve not seen before.

As the name suggests the Easy-Lift Dishwasher comes with the ability of the bottom tray to raise up to 25cm to make loading and unloading a breeze. We are not talking about restricting the load to only the lightest of plates, cups, pots and pans as this little miracle is capable of loads of up to 18 kg (not a misprint)

Those with chronic back issues will welcome the elimination of the need to bend over to use the bottom tray as it can be raised to waist height.

The Easy Lift bottom tray – holding up to 18kg

Regarding the space trick, the Midea Easy-Lift dishwasher has somehow managed to design an appliance that boasts up to an extra 46mm in internal height space over comparable 60cm dishwashers that will assist with those extra long stemmed glasses or champagne flutes. This adds approximately an extra 9% more space overall.

It’s no slouch when it comes to cleaning either. With a 5.5 Star water rating, 4.5 Star energy rating and other features such as a Dual Zone wash and an automatically adjusting cycle to detect and clean the load according to need.

Christie Yuen, Head of Marketing for Midea ANZ stated that “The new Easy-Lift dishwasher brings to life our promise of creating technology that makes everyday living easier, more comfortable and more efficient. It brings together cleaning performance, energy saving, convenience, safety and design into a dishwasher that we believe leads the way at a time when Australians need great products with features they actually use to make their lives easier at home.”

Sleek design

Midea has also listed these additional features:

  • Ion Dishfresh technology, which eliminates up to 99.8% of pollutants
  • HygieneCare+, IntensiveCare+ and MachineCare+ programs ensure the elimination of 99.8% of viruses such as COVID, HSV-1,Norovirus and Rhinovirus
  • ActiveOpen Dry technology that automatically opens the dishwasher door, allowing the steam to escape and cool dry air to rush in

The Midea Easy-Lift Dishwasher is available now from Bing Lee and has a recommended Retail Price of $1,269
