Ring Goes 2K: 2nd-Gen Spotlight and Floodlight Cameras Land in Australia

Home security and smart home company Ring have announced a new range of 2K resolution videos, launching the 2nd gen Spotlight Camera and Floodlight Camera in Australia today.

The new cameras introduce improvements with sharper clarity and, more importantly, at a more accessible price point.

These latest cameras mean that Ring now offers 2K resolution as a starting point across their entire camera portfolio, giving you access to clear, sharp imagery when you need it.

The Ring Spotlight Camera (2nd Gen) includes a 550 Lumens spotlight, while the Ring Floodlight Camera (2nd Gen) packs much more powerful 2000-lumen floodlights to really illuminate the area you’re trying to protect.

The Spotlight camera supports a dual-battery chamber, making it easy to swap batteries on the fly and is also compatible with the Quick Release Ultra Battery Pack sold separately if you really want to expand your battery life.

Both the Spotlight and Floodlight cameras are available in either Black or White colourways to match the facade on your home, with pre-orders open now through Amazon.com.au  and Ring.com

The Ring Spotlight Camera (2nd Gen) is priced at 9, with shipping starting 11th of June, while the Ring Floodlight Camera (2nd Gen) is priced at 9 and will begin shipping on June 4th.
