After teasing a brand new Gemini enabled Home speaker set to launch by ‘Autumn 2026’ in October last year, it’s been quiet from Google, and with Winter now here it’s time for a leak.
The folks over at 9to5Google have found a product page for the speaker on the Canadian website of US-retailer Best Buy. The page has since been made private, though a screen capture was nabbed before being taken down.
The listing shows Google will launch the speaker in Canada on June 25th in Porcelain and Hazel colour options for $139.99 CAD ($141 AUD)
The listing confirms this latest Google Home Speaker will bring 360° audio, as well as a long awaited feature which will let you pair two Google Home speakers with a Google TV Streamer for surround sound audio.
The speaker is still being listed on the Australian Google Store, though it appears the price has increased from the original listing price of $179 to now $199, with Porcelain and Hazel colourways the only options available, so it appears the ‘Jade’ and ‘Berry’ options will be limited in availability.
Google also now lists ‘Coming later 2026’ as the date for launch, so we may see more on this later this month.
