Apple iPhone Event confirmed for September 10 – “Surprise and Shine”

Apple fans and iPhone curious, set your alarms for 3am on September 10 Australian Eastern Standard Time, that’s when Apple’s new CEO John Ternus will take the stage at Steve Jobs Theatre for the company’s next “special Apple Event”.

Inside the company’s HQ in California, the Steve Jobs Theatre sits underground but for the stunning circle entry building with walls made just from glass and it’s beneath that where all Apple’s major product announcements have been made for the last ten years.

On September 9 at 10am in Cupertino, which is a very early morning the next day for Aussies, Apple will “Surprise and Shine” for what is assumed to be the next iPhone launch.

Rumours are strong and wide that the first iPhone foldable will be announced, possibly known as the iPhone Ultra while alongside it will be the next generation of iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max models.

Interestingly, it appears the company will split their smartphone portfolio by saving the next entry level iPhones the iPhone 18 and a possible iPhone Air 2 until early in 2027.

Whatever the case, all eyes in tech will focus on Apple in just two weeks to see how they approach a market that Samsung, Motorola, Oppo, Google and others have been in for some time – the Foldables.

Question is, will that elusive and unannounced Foldable iPhone be sold worldwide at launch? Many are suggesting it may be a staggered release with Australians having to wait until 2027 – we shall see.

We will be there for the event, and bring you all the latest here at EFTM.com
