Marking the tenth anniversary of the Nano, Insta360’s first foray into 360 photography with a clip-on 360 camera for the iPhone, the company is today announcing the new Insta360 X6.

The X6 includes a Triple AI Chip System which uses two dedicated imaging processors and Qualcomm’s flagship 8-core 3.3GHz 4nm chip to drastically reduce image noise in low-light shots with dual ambient light sensors cutting out flicker and adjusts dynamic range for each sensor.
The cameras support native in-camera Dolby Vision and 10-Bit Colour Depth, a first for 360 Cameras offering more accurate colour reproduction.

The 360 Mode captures in 8K50fps, letting you reframe the shots in post-production to make sure you get the best out of your shots, or use the InstaFrame 2.0 smart tracking, which has been rebuilt from the ground up, intelligently locking onto people, pets or objects at high quality 4K30fps flat video.
The camera can also operate in single-lens mode like a traditional action camera, capturing at up to 5K60fps – or in wide-angle up to 170 degrees at 5K30fps, or with Slow Motion at 4K120fps.
