Roborock’s New Mower Range Arrives at Bunnings For Spring

As Spring approaches, I can almost hear the lawn growing already, but Roborock is ready with four (technically six!) new Robot mowers launching in September. 

The announcement includes two new RockMow models, the RockMow Z150 and RockMow Z1 LiDAR (Z120), as well as the RockNeo Q Series and RockMow S Series robot mowers. 

RockMow Z150

The flagship of the launch is the RockMow Z150. Priced at $4,999 RRP, the RockMow Z150 is able to cover the biggest lawns, up to 5,000 m², with a class-leading 250m²/h cutting speed.

While it won’t cover the whole lawn in one hit, the 10Ah battery on-board can last for up to 130 minutes of mowing – and takes a full charge from the docking station in just 70 minutes. 

The robot is intelligent, using AI auto mapping fed by RTK (Real-Time Kinematic – a sort of combined satellite mapping and local camera mapping), as well as  VSLAM (Visual Simultaneous Localisation and Mapping – using computer vision) to accurately model your yard offering precise and reliable maps.

The maps can be set with up to 15-zone scheduling, with pattern cutting and the mower also includes rain/frozen sensors – and (hoping this translates to bandicoots and more) Hedgehog protection! 

It uses a 4WD system to handle steep yards with up to 80% slope, with a 6-blade cutting system that can cut grass to heights of 20-70mm with electric height adjustment.

RockMow Z1 (Z120)

Adding LiDAR to the mix, the RockMow Z1 (Z120) brings precise navigation to Roborock’s mid-sized lawn mower. 

As well as LiDAR, the RockMow Z1 also uses VSLAM with the combination offering a more precise mapping system bringing sharp, adaptive spatial awareness. You also get 15-zone scheduling with rain and frozen grass sensors.

The mower includes a long-life battery, and able to cover up to 2,000 m², cutting at 160m²/h and charges to full in just 50 minutes for 80 minutes of mowing. 

Like it’s stablemate, the RockMow Z1 is also able to cover slopes up to 80% grade with the 4WD system able to clear tough terrain. 

The RockMow Z1 also includes a 6-blade cutting system, with variable height adjustment from 20-70mm. 

You’ll be able to get your hands on the RockMow Z1 (Z120) from September 1st through Bunnings for $3,499. 

RockMow S Series

Roborock are also launching the new RockMow S-Series in two models, the S108, able to cover up to 800 m², or the S115, able to cover up to 1,500 m². 

The S Series offers a more budget friendly option, starting at $1,999 for the S108, and $2,499 for the S115 model. 

The S Series brings a high-torque motor, and includes a protective blade guard, and precision electric height adjustment you can adjust from the app ranging from 20mm-60m. 

The mower includes a ring light indicator for at-a-glance status, letting you get instant feedback on where it’s at, and it includes RTK + VSLAM navigation, as well as a standard edge-mowing kit for professional-looking borders. 

Like the other models, the RockMow S Series includes pattern cutting, sliding disc traction, and up to 15-zone scheduling.

RockMow Q-Series

The entry point for the Roborock robot mower range, the RockMow Q-Series brings AI-powered smart mapping with “Sentisphere” (a sort of AI-powered environmental perception and 3D mapping system) environmental perception. 

Available in two models, the Q105 (up to 500 m²) and Q110 (up to 1000 m²), the Q Series includes Rear Wheel Drive, offering adaptive terrain traversal, which when combined with the RTK + VSLAM mapping system, lets the mower just get on with it. 

There’s a 3-blade cutting system included with the Q-Series, as well as height adjustment from 20-60mm – though it’s a manual adjustment on the Q-Series. 

You can also set up to 15-zone scheduling, and like the rest of the Roborock robot mower range it supports night mowing – if your neighbours let you, as well as hedgehog protection.

Pricing starts at $1,499 for the RockNeo Q105, while the RockNeo Q110 will be price at $1,899. 

All of the Roborock robot mower range will be available through Bunnings from September 1st.
