Logitech G announces the new Blue Yeti 2 microphone, set to change the creator and gaming microphone experience

Last week we saw a brief snippet from Logitech G Play 2026 about the launch of a new Logitech G Yeti microphone.  We have now received all the details on the new Blue Yeti 2 designed to revolutionise the creator and gaming microphone experience.

The new Logitech G Blue Yeti 2 encompasses a lot of new features for the microphone space, including:

• An intelligent voice proximity sensor that tracks your voice in 3D and adjusts the gain, EQ and pickup patterns to maintain consistent, professional sound
• An interactive 1.3-inch colour LED screen on the microphone to provide real-time feedback on gain levels and polar patterns
• AI-powered de-noiser to clean the sound, reducing background noise such as mouse clicks and other distractions
• On-board BlueVo!ce digital signal processing for professional voice clarity

Although the new Blue Yeti 2 can be tweaked for ultimate professional sound quality, it can also be used straight out of the box thanks to factory-enabled auto-gain and auto-tracking for professional sound. The Blue Yeti 2 also uses a new 3-capsule array to capture up to 24-bit / 48 kHz high-resolution sound for accurate voice reproduction. 

For the technically minded, the specs also include:

• Polar Patterns: Auto Pattern & Custom Pattern with Pattern Steering Technology (includes Stereo, Cardioid, Super/Hyper Cardioid, Omnidirectional, and Bidirectional)
• Hardware Design: Premium metal build featuring a die-cast body and desk stand with a ⅝-inch boom arm mount
• Connectivity: USB-C (bypasses the need for an external audio interface or XLR setup)
• Onboard Interface & Controls:
  • 1.3-inch interactive high-resolution colour LED display (featuring a personal Yeti character guide, level tracking, and custom avatar support)
