A few months ago Optus added Netflix and Presto streaming as a data-free option for mobile customers and today that offer got a touch better adding Stan and ABC iView to the mix.
With Presto shutting down it’s good to offer an alternative to Netflix, but overall it’s just great to create an almost limitless streaming possiblity for Optus Mobile customers.
In addition to now having Netflix, Stan and Presto, you can also view content from ABC iView and ABC KIDS iView without any impact on your data.
Tim Cowan, Head of Mobile Marketing at Optus said, “Optus is leading the market with access to some of the best streaming services from Australia and the world. Optus is removing the biggest barrier for customers who want to stream on their mobiles with data-free streaming.”
“Optus customers have been quick to embrace Mobile TV streaming. Our customers that have taken up Mobile TV have more than doubled the amount of time they spend watching streaming content on their mobile devices.”
It’s all an option for just $10 a month. That $10 might normally buy 1GB of extra data, but with Optus it buys you all the data you can reasonably use on those streaming services.
