OPPO brings premium features at an affordable price with their new A-series phones

Smartphone maker OPPO has today announced their new A-Series phones in Australia bringing a slew of premium features at an affordable price.

OPPO is announcing two phones under $400 today, with the OPPO A9 2-2- available in retailers from October 28th, and on-sale online from today, while the OPPO A5 2020 will launch exclusively on Telstra on October 29th.

The OPPO A-series includes a large 6.5-inch display, as well as a quad camera array on the rear, dual stereo speakers that support Dolby ATMOS, and a massive 5,000mAh ultra battery which OPPO says will deliver up to 19 hours of battery life. The battery is also able to reverse charge other devices if required.

The OPPO A9 includes a 48MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP mono lens and 2MP portrait lens. While the OPPO A5 swaps in a 12MP main camera. The 8MP Ultra-Wide lens offers a 119-degree field of view for including more of your favourite scene.

OPPO says their sensors are tuned for low-light shots, using ‘Ultra Night Mode 2.0’ to snap shots in low light using HDR and multi-frame stacking to create pictures that are clearer and have less noise.
