Sennheiser announce the ACCENTUM True Wireless earbuds, a more affordable premium sound

Sennheiser has today announced their new true wireless earbuds, the ACCENTUM True Wireless earbuds — not to be confused with the ultra-premium MOMENTUM True Wireless 4 earbuds we reviewed just a month ago.

The new ACCENTUM True Wireless earbuds are more affordable, priced at AU$349.95, while still prmising the premium sound quality we have come to expect from Sennheiser.

The design of the ACCENTUM True Wireless earbuds is similar otothat of the MOMENTUM Sport we reviewed last week , with the promise of a more comfortable fit allowing for long listening sessions. The design was actually the product of a collaboration with Sonova, a leading hearing aid manufacturer, to produce a design that provides the ideal balance of stability and comfort.

Four sizes of ear tips are included in the box for added comfort and to produce a great seal in your ear without affecting their comfort.

Inside there are 7mm dynamic True Response Transducers to produce powerful bass while not neglecting the mid and treble portions of your music. These drivers are designed to produce ultra-low distortion for that cclean, crisp sound.

The ANC makes quick work of loud, ongoing sounds in your environment such as airplane noise with the ability to switch from full ANC to hybrid ANC and transparency modes with a simple tap gesture on one of the earbuds — or oyu can do it in the Smart Control app on your smartphone.

The new earbuds support Bluetooth 5.3 for Bluetooth LE audio, SBC and AAC codec playback along with the ability to utilise aptX. The earbuds in fact support a full 8 hours of playback with another 20 total hours within the charging case.

Speaking of the charging case, it will charge via both USB-C and Qi wireless charging with fast charging possible if you use USB-C offering one hour of playback from just 10 minutes of charging.

The Sennheiser ACCENTUM True Wireless are available for pre-order starting today and will officially launch on May 21. The earbuds come in black or white colourways, and will be available from select retailers and at sennheiser-hearing.com with an MSRP of $349.95 AUD / $369.95 NZ
