D-Link announce new mydlink family of IP Cameras at CES 2020

After announcing their new routers at CES, D-Link has also unveiled a new range of cameras in their mydlink family of IP cameras.

The new range is interoperable with other devices in the mydlink ecosystem, and support Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa commands as well. D-Link also proudly spruiks their mydlink cameras also conform toi the ONVIF standard – a standards body that promotes ‘standardised interfaces for effective interoperability of IP-based physical security products’.

The cameras all include support for the latest industry-standard 128-bit wireless encryption, and have built-in Bluetooth for faster setup, cloud recording.

The mydlink cameras all work with the free mydlink app – available for iOS and Android – for remote viewing and management.

The new range includes:

DCS-8630LH and DCS-8627LH Full HD Outdoor Wi-Fi Spotlight Cameras

  • 400 lumen LED spotlight
  • Colour and infra-red night vision
  • Edge-based person detection
  • IP65 weatherproof
  • Glass-break detection
  • Speaker/siren with two-way audio
  • Google Assistant/ Alexa voice commands can turn on/off spotlight and siren
  • The DCS-8630LH features built-in smart home hub with Zigbee™ Technology

DCS-8526LH – Full HD Pan/Tilt Pro Wi-Fi Camera

  • 360° horizontal view with 340° pan / 105° tilt
  • Auto motion tracking
  • Panorama view angle selection
  • Edge-based person detection
  • Built-in Ethernet port for wired connection
  • Physical privacy mode

DCS-8302LH – Full HD Indoor/Outdoor Wi-Fi Camera

  • Edge-based person detection
  • Splash proof indoor/outdoor design
  • Built-in Ethernet port for wired connection
  • Built-in microphone and speaker with siren

DCS-8000LHV2 Mini Full HD Wi-Fi Camera

  • Compact size 3.7 x 4.5 x 9.5 cm
  • Full HD resolution 1080p at 30 fps with 138° FOV
  • Edge-based person detection

At this stage D-Link hasn’t announced pricing or availability for the new mydlink family of cameras but we’ll get that info closer to the local launch.
