Optus Sport has previously been available on most platforms, including mobiles and PCs, as well as on Fetch, Apple TV, Android TV compatible Smart TVs, as well as casting from Apple Airplay, Chromecast and Amazon Fire TV and more Optus also extended the app to LG Smart TVs as well.

Speaking about bringing the app to Samsung Smart TVs, Optus’ Head of TV and Content, Corin Dimopoulos said “We want to provide an experience that not only gives our subscribers the ability to watch the world’s biggest leagues at home or on the go, but also to give them the choice to watch it on their preferred streaming platform,”

As well as access to football, Samsung Smart TV owners will also get access to Optus Sport’s brand-new OS Fitness platform, which provides a variety of fun and effective fitness workouts for the entire family.

To catch all the latest action from Optus Sport, you’ll need either an existing Optus Sport account and premium subscription. New customers are able to access by subscribing via the Optus Sport mobile apps, or as an inclusion with an eligible Optus plan.
