Laptops announcements are gaming friendly at this years CES, and Razer has announced their latest updates to the Blade 15 and Blade Pro 17, bringing NVIDIA RTX 30 series graphics to both laptops.
Razer will offer three RTX 30 series options on both the Blade 15 and Blade Pro 17, letting you choose from configurations including the RTX 3060, RTX 3070 and of course the RTX 3080.
Of course with new GPUs, Razer has introduced new display options offering higher refresh rates and higher resolutions.
The Blade 15 will include three display options at 15.6-inches – Full HD at 360Hz, QuadHD at 240Hz with NVIDIA G-SYNC and Ultra HD OLED with a wide colour space at 60Hz.
The Blade 17 will also offer three different display options at 17.3-inches – Full HD at 360Hz, Quad HD at 165Hz, and Ultra HD at 120Hz.
Beyond graphics, Razer is still offering 10th Gen Intel Core i7 processors, with no word on new 11th Gen “Tiger Lake” series processors. You can also get up to 32GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage, although the Blade 17 does offer a secondary storage option to take it up to 2TB.
The design of the Blade 15 and Blade 17 Pro hasn’t changed greatly, with the Blade 15 the smallest laptop with an RTX 30 Series GPU. The laptops include a good range of ports from USB-C to HDMI 2.1, as well as a UHS-III SD card reader. The Blade 15 and Blade 17 Pro keyboards also offer customisable RGB Chroma settings to let you proclaim your style.
Razer has confirmed the new Blade 15 and Blade 17 Pro will be available in Australia, with the Blade 15 and Blade 17 Pro able to be pre-ordered from today.
Pricing for the Blade 15 starts at $3,149 with a FHD/144Hz and RTX 3060, or you can go the whole hog with RTX3080 and 4K OLED display for $5,999.
The Blade 17 Pro starts at $4,399 with a FHD 360Hz display and RTX 3060, though you can choose from quite a few options through to the top of the line 4K/120Hz with RTX 3080 for $6,499.
Razer says the Blade 15 will arrive on January 26th, while the Blade 17 Pro will arrive some time in Q1 2021.
