realme kick off 2021 with new wearables, the Watch S and the Buds Air Pro

At the beginning of last year realme made a promise to launch a large range of wearables into the market, which they ended up doing. 2021 looks set to be more of the same with new upgraded wearables from realme hitting the market from next week.

realme Watch S

The realme Watch S is a break from their previous rectangular shaped watch — this time we have a more traditional circular watchface and boy does it look good.

As you would expect by the naming of the watch, its functionality is focused on sports and with a 1.3-inch auto brightness touchscreen display and 16 sports modes (outdoor run, walk, indoor run, cycle, strength training, football, basketball and more) you will most likely find something that suits your exercise.

The sports modes are aided by heart rate and oxygen sensors allowing for easy tracking of your exercise and progress. The battery is “just” 390mAh but still delivers a whopping 15 days of continuous usage.

As you would expect you can control certain phone features from the watch along with view any notifications you may receive. Along with an IP68 water resistance (1.5m) it can of course measure your daily stats such as steps, sleep detection, and sedentary reminder.

The realme Watch S is available from the 4th February in a default black version with additional silicon and vegan leather straps available for purchase. The Watch S will set you back just $169 from  realme e-store, mobileciti, 5GWORLD, Amazon, eBay and Catch.com.

realme Buds Air Pro

Looking a lot like those from Apple, the Buds Air Pro offer a more budget-friendly option for those looking for true wireless earbuds. With 25 hours of battery life and a super low latency of just 94ms the Buds Air Pro bring a loud sound to a small package.

realme promise noise cancelling for both media playback and for phone calls to allow your calls and listening pleasure to be crystal clear no matter your environment.

The 25 hours of battery life is provided by the large 486mAh battery which can be charged from empty to full in just one hour and provide three hours of listening from a quick 10 minute fast charge.

With transparency mode allowing for you to hear environmental noises along with a 10mm bass boost driver and smart wear detection the realme Buds Air Pro promise to be high quality earbuds.

The Buds Air Pro are available for pre-order from the 4th February and on sale on 11th February for $199 in Rock Black and Soul White from  realme e-store, mobileciti, 5GWORLD, Amazon, eBay and Catch.com.
