Vivo annouces cheapest 5G handset to date with the Y52 now available to purchase

Smartphone maker Vivo has announced their latest 5G enabled handset, the Y52 is now available in Australia and it’s a cracker of a deal.

At $379 the Y52 is an amazing deal for anyone wanting to get a 5G enabled phone with the handset including a 6.58” FullHD+ resolution display with a Mediatek Dimensity 700 processor, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of on-board storage.

The phone also includes a rather large 5,000mAh battery that includes an 18W fast charger in the box to top you up.

For shutterbugs, the Y52 includes a triple AI Camera array headlined by a 48MP main sensor and 2MP Depth sensor for impressive Bokeh and 2MP macro sensor for those close up shots also included. There’s also an 8MP front-facing selife camera in a tear-drop notch in the display.

The phone comes in Graphite Black with a slim 8.58mm profile that also includes a fingerprint sensor in the power button.

Laura Hayward, Communications Manager, vivo mobile Australia said of the Y52

“5G is becoming more accessible and that shouldn’t mean you need to spend more to future proof your smartphone. We are thrilled to offer Australians the most affordable 5G smartphone, delivering a premium experience at a low price point. We are hoping with Y52 5G – more Australians will enjoy technology that before may have been out of reach. It’s also equipped with a powerful camera and massive battery, so it’s a great all-rounder device.”

To get your hands on the Vivo Y52, you can check it out in-store or online at Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, Big W, The Good Guys and Officeworks – or online only through Amazon, Kogan, eBay MyDeal and Mobileciti. You can also check it out on the Vivo Australia website.
