Nest Cam Floodlight and Indoor Cam are now available for purchase on the Google Store

After announcing their refreshed Nest Cam range back in August we’ve been waiting for their new Floodlight Cam and Indoor Camera to arrive in-stock. The day is finally here with the cameras now available to purchase from the Google Store.

We’ve known pricing since the announcement with the Nest Cam Indoor (Wired) priced at $169 AUD, while the Nest Cam with floodlight (wired) is priced at $549 – with both units only being offered in White.

As a refresher, the Nest Cam with Floodlight offers a new, smarter option for floodlights with the ability to differentiate between a tree branch moving, or car driving past and someone walking by who actually needs the floodlight turned on.

You will need to wire the Nest Cam with Floodlight, with the dual floodlights offering an adjustable brightness level up to 2400 lumens.

Their battery powered Nest Cam Indoor/Outdoor which launched in August offers versatility, the new Nest Cam Indoor (wired) option offers a more budget friendly option, though obviously it needs a power source (and isn’t waterproof).

This model also comes with a built-in stand which lets you position the camera as you need to capture as much, or as little as you want.

You can find both the Nest Cam with Floodlight and Nest Cam Indoor (Wired) for sale on the Google Store, or at JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, Officeworks and The Good Guys. We’ll have reviews of both the new models as soon as we can lay hands on them.
