Lenovo Australia announces new Yoga laptop range with the dual-screen Yoga Book 9i

It’s the season for new laptop launches and today Lenovo have announced their new Yoga range is arriving in Australia, with the headline announcement the Yoga Book 9i (13”, Gen 8),  the world’s first full-sized OLED dual-screen laptop.

Alongside the Yoga Book 9i, Lenovo are also launching five more Yoga models including the Yoga Pro 9i with 14.5” and 16” display options, Yoga Pro 7i with 14.5” display, Yoga Slim 7i with 13” display and Yoga Slim 6i with 14” display. 

The new range is powered by the13th Gen Intel Core processors, with some offering options for NVIDIA RTX graphics, the new YOGA range is ‘designed and engineered for on-the-go creators, creatives, artists, and anyone looking to unleash their expressive potential’ says Lenovo.

Yoga Book 9i

The Yoga Book 9i caused waves when it was announced at CES,as the world’s first full-sized OLED dual-screen laptop.

 The laptop consists of two 13” QHD+ resolution 60Hz PureSight OLED displays in 16:10 aspect ratio, with a detachable Bluetooth keyboard, stylus pen, & folio stand included in the box. The Folio stand is exceptionally useful for mounting the displays as you need them.

Built on the Intel Evo platform, the Yoga Book 9i is powered by an Intel Core i7-1355U processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics and up to 16GB DDR5 RAM and up to a 1TB PCIe M.2 Gen4 SSD.

The Yoga Book 9i (13, 8) will be available from JB Hi-Fi in July for $4,299. 

Yoga Pro 9i and Yoga Pro 7i

The Yoga Pro line is designed to be a premium high performance experience,  with the Yoga Pro line-up the most powerful in the Yoga line. 

The 8th generation Yoga Pro line includes the Yoga Pro 9i (14.5” and 16”) and Yoga Pro 7i (14”) with both using the new Mini-LED PureSight Pro Display bringing a ‘wider range of colour and contrast, brightness of up to 1200 nits’ says Lenovo.

The Yoga Pro 9i will offer up to Intel Core i9-13905H processors with up to 64GB DDR5 (6400) RAM, while the Yoga Pro 7i will offer up to Intel Core i7-13700H processors with up to 32GB of DDR5 (5200) RAM and both offering up to 1TB PCIE Gen 4 M.2 SSD.

Both come with NVIDIA RTX40xx series graphics, RTX4050 for the Yoga Pro 7i and RTX4060 for the Yoga Pro 9i. The RTX GPUs are NVIDIA Studio certified and will offer improved rendering and exports for creators

The Yoga Pro 9i and Yoga Pro 7i are both available now, with the Yoga Pro 9i (14.5”, 8) priced at ,499, while the Yoga Pro 9i (16”, 8) is priced at ,699 and will be available through JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman & Officeworks. The Yoga 7i will be priced from

Yoga Slim 7i Carbon and Yoga Slim 6i

Designed for on-the-go, the Yoga Slim 7i Carbon and Yoga Slim 6i, Lenovo has also added reliability and durability with military-grade design certifications.

The Yoga Slim 7i is a super lightweight design coming in at just under 1kg. The laptop uses a top cover made from aero-grade, proprietary carbon fiber which Lenovo says has 25% higher rigidity for minimal display flex. It will last all day though, with Lenovo saying the 50Wh battery will last up to 14.5 hours.

Both the Yoga Slim 7i Carbon and Yoga Slim 6i are powered by up to Intel Core i7-1280P processors with Intel Iris Xe graphics and up to 16GB of DDR5 memory and up to 1TB PCle M.2 SSD. 

Unfortunately Lenovo hasn’t confirmed pricing or availability for the Yoga Slim 7i Carbon, but the Yoga Slim 6i is available now from
