Next gen Samsung watches and earbuds show up in new leak

It’s only a couple of weeks until Samsung officially unveils their latest Galaxy AI powered devices at Unpacked 2024, but the internet waits for no-one. A new leak has shown off the next Galaxy range, including the phones, next gen earbuds and watches.

The leak, courtesy of Evan Blass and his @evleaks X (formerly Twitter) account – and new sub-stack email list, as well as a leak from @arsenneLupin on X. Blass has shown off renders of both the Galaxy Fold6 and Galaxy Flip6, while @mysterylupin has shared case designs of both phones in a variety of colours. Evan has also shown off the upcoming Galaxy Watch 7, and highly anticipated Galaxy Watch Ultra, as well as the new Galaxy Buds 3, and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro earbuds.

Flip and Fold

Samsung’s soon to be announced phones, the Galaxy Flip6 and Galaxy Fold6, first leaked early this morning in the form of case renders, showing the cases for the Galaxy Fold6 in grey, silver, and a dark blue colorway, with at least one Fold6 case showing a holder for the S-Pen, while we see the Galaxy Flip6 in a lighter green/turquoise, with some key holder cases in a similar dark blue and grey colourways.

If the cases are getting in the way of your viewing enjoyment, @Evleaks has your back, with new unfiltered renders of the Galaxy Fold6 and Galaxy Flip6, showing them off inside and out.

While the Flip6 renders show the selfie camera, it appears the Fold will again opt for an invisible, under display selfie camera. While they are renders, the profile shots of both phones are promising, showing the Flip6 opening completely flat, while the Fold6 closes flat.

Evan has also shown off the upocoming Fold6 in a silver/grey and with a dark/navy Blue colour, while the Flip6 got shown off in silver/grey and a light blue colourway. The Fold6 appears to have a fairly significant triple camera array nestled in the bump on the rear, while the Flip6 has a decent dual-camera array. Both the phones have a large external display, though the Flip6 appears smaller than the recently announced Motorola razr 50 ultra.

Buds and Watches

The new design of the Buds 3 Pro and the Galaxy Watch Ultra are obvious talking points. Samsung’s decision to go with the new squircle design of the watch Watch Ultra and the new Buds 3 Pro design incorporating stems, will obviously have comparisons to the Apple Watch Ultra and Airpods Pro.

The leak includes several colours for both the Galaxy Watch7, and Galaxy Watch Ultra, including what appears to be a white, silver and olive Green with matching bands for the Watch7, while the Ultra will apparently come in silver, darker grey – perhaps Titanium – and Black.

On the earbuds front, the new Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro include the new stem design, with the Buds 3 shown off in a gloss white with orange and blue accents for left/right, while the Buds 3 Pro have a darker grey colour option. It’s interesting to note that the Buds 3 have no in-ear tips, while the Buds 3 Pro include rubber/silicon ear tips, presumably to get a better seal – presumably for improved Active Noise Cancellation.

The new, updated case in a more vertical orientation also has the left/right highlights to help make it easier to get your buds back to charging, and there’s rumours of ‘blade lights’ running down the stem, but we’ll have to wait for official confirmation on that rumour.

There’s no pricing, specs or feature details from any of the phones, buds or watches in this one, so we’ll have to wait for the big day, which thankfully isn’t too far away.
