PAX 2024 is coming to Melbourne again this year and although the big names are going to be present once again with their million-dollar titles and more for some of us the indie developers are what catches our eye.
Indie developers are working in a tough industry and it is difficult for them to get exposure and their games out to the world and this is why PAX Aus 2024 and the like are important. Justin Porter, Co-Founder of Mean Games says, “As indie game makers, the visibility that the PAX Aus Indie Showcase provides is invaluable. To be recognised as a Showcase Winner gives us an opportunity we would never have had otherwise to share our game with this incredible community.”
If you want to check out the games before PAX Aus 2024 in October hit them up on their respective websites. I certainly will be and hope to check out as many of them before October that I can.
Attendees can get immersed in the PAX Aus Indie Showcase as part of PAX Aus 2024, which will take place on October 11-13 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC, or Jeff’s Shed). For more information head on over to the PAX Aus 2024 website.
