OPPO rounds out the A Series of afforable smartphones with the reliable A5 and the A5x

OPPO Australia has today finalised the rollout of its A5 Series, with the availability of the new A5x and A5, joining the A5 5G and A5 Pro 5G, which were released in recent weeks.

GfK Market Intelligence Sales Tracking reveals that 31% of smartphone unit sales in Australia over the last 12 months have been under $500, representing an eight per cent increase in actual volume during this period. The new devices released confirm OPPO’s commitment to budget-conscious phones that deliver reliability without breaking the bank.

So, what do Aussies actually want from their phone? The sales data shows that while affordability remains a big priority, the top priority is battery life with 49 percent of consumers listing it as the most important feature in a smartphone, followed by value for money (34%). Other notable priorities include trusted brand, camera quality, storage capacity and durability.

Not only do Aussies want to spend less, but they want more for their money than ever before. The new OPPO A series looks to deliver just that, focusing on features that people want and use every day.

The OPPO A5 Pro 5G and the A5 5G are already selling like hotcakes, and the new additions to the A Series lineup by OPPO are set to do the same.

The A5 features a 6,000mAh battery, 45W fast charging, a 50MP camera, IP65 dust and water resistance and a 1000-nit display, all for just $259!

The A5x pushes the affordability envelope even further with its $219 price, including the 6,000mAh battery with 45W charging and Military-Grade Shock Resistance. It is powered by the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 1 chipse,t offering everyday reliability.

The entire A5 Series is available starting at $219 from OPPO’s official online store, JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, The Good Guys, Officeworks and Big W.
