Razer announce a new lightweight, wireless addition to the Cobra mouse family, the Cobra HyperSpeed

Razer has announced the new Razer Cobra HyperSpeed mouse family, all of which embody the Cobra line’s philosophy of performance, customizability, and immersion in a compact device.

Barrie Ooi, Head of Razer’s PC Gaming Division, said:

Cobra HyperSpeed is the feature-packed, lightweight wireless mouse we’ve always envisioned for gamers — it’s loaded with optical technology across the sensor, scroll wheel, and mouse switches, along with Chroma RGB lighting, and delivers the perfect balance of performance and immersion.

Lightweight at just 62 grams, the Cobra HyperSpeed still features nine programmable controls with onboard memory for storing up to five profiles, allowing you to easily switch to your specific game-mouse preferences with a simple click.

The new mouse includes the Razer Focus X 26K Optical Sensor, capable of delivering up to 26,000 DPI with 99.6% accuracy for consistent tracking and game movements. Razer Chrome RGB lighting is also supported, which is impressive in such a light mouse. The optical scroll wheel also offers three times the durability of traditional mechanical designs while also delivering more precise control during gaming sessions.

The new Optical Mouse Switches are now Gen-4, providing a “crisp, enhanced click” and are rated for 100 million clicks, ensuring longevity of the mouse.

Connectivity-wise, the Cobra HyperSpeed supports Razer HyperSpeed Wireless (2.4 GHz), Bluetooth, and wired USB Type-C modes while delivering up to 110 hours of battery life using HyperSpeed and 170 hours on Bluetooth. The mouse is compatible with Razer HyperFlux V2 Wireless charging, the Mouse Dock Pro and the Wireless Charging Puck (all sold separately).

Built for right-handers only, the Razer Cobra HyperSpeed mouse joins the Cobra Pro and Cobra in the Cobra family, with the new addition bringing a lightweight, high-performance and wireless mouse to the collection.

The Razer Cobra HyperSpeed is available now at Razer.com and selected retailers for $189.95 AUD / $219.95 NZD RRP.
