These are the cans (and bottles) you’re looking for

I promised myself I wouldn’t use endless puns but as a Star Wars fan since the franchise started in 1977 this is going to be hard, so bear with me I’ll do my best

Coca-Cola® and Disney have teamed up to launch a limited-edition “Coca-Cola x Star Wars: Refresh Your Galaxy” collection

Now you can’t just walk into your nearest cantina and get your hands on this special edition packaging. These are collectors editions so they might be difficult to find so May the Force be with you in your journey. But of course, I should never tell you the odds.

These 21 special edition cans and bottles will be available from 1st August and is part of a global rollout across America, Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America and feature characters such as Darth Vader, Yoda, Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker, The Mandalorian and Ahsoka Tano.

Whilst Star Wars fans will clamber to get their hands on all 21, having them in your collection is just the start. Selected cans or bottles possess a QR code that will enable you to unlock an augmented reality (AR) experience and record your own Star Wars-style hologram message to share with friends.

I can see it now. “You’re my only hope”, “I have a bad feeling about this”, “I love you, I know”. I for one am going to have fun with this

“At Coca-Cola, we’re always looking for fresh, fun ways to bring fans closer to the things they love,” said Martyn Ferguson, Senior Director of Marketing at The Coca-Cola Company Australia and New Zealand. Whether you’re collecting cans or sharing hologram messages, it’s all about embracing the stories and characters that unite us.”

Only a couple of weeks to go so do your best to collect all 21. Do or do not. There is no try.

How did I do?
