Officeworks and Uber Eats join forces to deliver this Christmas

Officeworks have always had delivery as an option for your purchases, whether that be a roll of sticky tape or that fancy piece of new technology. Now you can get last minute Christmas items delivered by Uber Eats when you shop at Officeworks.

If, like me you tend to leave Christmas shopping to the last minute, the traditional delivery options arrive too late and won’t save you from the embarrassment of having a present to loved ones arrive whist you’re watching the Boxing Day Test (or worse if the poms get bowled out in 2 days again)

That’s where Uber Eats comes in. Officeworks and Uber Eats have teamed up to give you a rapid delivery service of a huge range of stocked items and you can order up to 5pm on CHRISTMAS EVE and delivery is expected to be completed within the hour in most Metro areas.

Officeworks have said that thousands of items are eligible for the speedy delivery service and these items can be found on their website or through the Uber Eats app

Whilst too many to mention, Officeworks did state that the list included Christmas favourites such as wrapping paper, gifts and stocking fillers, as well as tech essentials like AirPods, speakers, laptops and Nintendo – plus everyday essentials.

The top ten most-shopped items at Officeworks are (in order)

  • General stationery – such as sticky tape, scissors, exercise books and more
  • Pens and pencils
  • Stickers
  • Colour and activity books
  • Arts & craft
  • Cleaning equipment
  • Camcorders
  • Storage and organisation
  • Craft accessories
  • Paper

The guys at Officeworks implemented this new system after a 20 store trial and have now expanded it nationally just in time for Christmas.

To take advantage of this new delivery service, customers can choose that option when ordering at the Officeworks website or in the “Retail” or “Shopping” section of the Uber Eats app but hurry, Christmas is only a week away.
