Christmas 2025 is set to light up as Coca-Cola teams up with the new naming sponsor of the Carols in the Domain, The Salvation Army, to bring Sydneysiders a spectacular drone light show.
On Saturday 20 December a squadron of 500 drones will stretch across the sky at a height of approximately 150 metres and will span over 10,000 m². The drone show will feature the 12 Days Of Christmas but what will surely astound carollers, at one point they will arrange themselves to form an enormous QR code that will allow attendees to scan and donate directly to the Salvation Army.
A unique use of technology I’ve never seen before
Martyn Ferguson, Senior Director of Marketing, Coca-Cola Australia & New Zealand, said: “Carols in the Domain is one of Sydney’s most loved Christmas traditions, and Coca-Cola is proud to help The Salvos bring it to life in a new and magical way”
Of course it is not only drones that people come to see. A huge cast including Marcia Hines, Kate Miller-Heidke and The Wiggles will perform throughout the evening.
All the details about the event, including ticket sales can be found at the Carols in the Domain website
