Mark Fletcher, APAC Managing Director for Ring said of the launch

This launch marks an important step forward for Ring across Australia, reflecting our continued focus on innovation and customer choice. With a more versatile lineup spanning 4K video, battery, wired and solar-powered options, we’re enabling customers to tailor their setup to suit their home and lifestyle. It underscores our commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable technology that enhances how people stay connected to their homes.”

Ring is also introducing new solar accessories to minimise charging time. The solar accessories are designed to fit the new Battery Video Doorbell Pro (2nd Gen), Battery Video Doorbell Plus (2nd Gen), and Battery Video Doorbell (2nd Gen) with a choice of the Ring Doorbell Solar Charger for which surrounds the doorbell, or a separate Ring Doorbell Solar Panel for which can be mounted separately where the sun reaches best.

All models are supported by Ring Protect, offering online video storage as well as alert summaries, fast keyword searches for things like ‘car’, ‘package’ or ‘person’ so you can find an event in your history easily.

Using the new higher resolution Ring Doorbells paired with the Ring Protect smarts, Ring says they can deliver more useful information to customers faster so they can stay more informed without scrolling through clips.

The new range is available to pre-order from today, with Amazon listing delivery from May 1st to 4th.
