Samsung Debuts 2026 Audio Range bringing Next-Gen Q-Series soundbars and Music Studio speakers

Samsung have announced their updated 2026 Home Audio range, showing off the latest Music Studio Wi-Fi speakers and next-generation of Q-Series soundbars, as well as refreshed Sound Tower models. 

The new range, announced at CES earlier this year includes the Music Studio 7 and Music Studio 5 wireless speakers, as well as new Q-Series soundbars headlined by the new flagship HW-Q990H soundbar, as well as two new portable Sound Tower offerings so you can take your tunes on the go.

Music Studio

The new Music Studio series includes the Music Studio 7 and Music Studio 5. Designed by Erwan Bouroullec, who aimed for a minimalist form in order to ‘avoid being linked to a particular era or style’, they deliver immersive audio across music, podcasts and TV audio. 

Both speakers suppor Dolby Atmos for immersive, spatial audio, as well as Samsung’s Q-Symphony, which will let you pair the Music Studio 5 or Studio 7 with up to five Samsung sound devices, including compatible Samsung TV and soundbars so they work in unison for more immersive audio when watching movies and shows.

The Music Studio 7 is the larger model, incorporating a 3.1.1-channel audio setup, while the Music Studio 5 includes a built-in woofer and front-firing tweeters, also using waveguide technology to help direct and spread sound evenly across a room.

The speakers can operate wirelessly to connect to devices via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth – and a special integration with Spotify Tap lets you immediately stream your favourite playlist. 

They’re available now in either Black or White, with the Music Studio 7 priced at 9 while the Music Studio 5 is 9 through retailers or Samsung.

Q-Series SoundBars

The new Samsung Q-Series range includes four new models, with the flagship HW-Q990H sitting at the top of the range promising one of the most immersive soundbar experience from Samsung so far.

Priced at

,999, the HW-Q990H includes a standalone subwoofer, as well as rear speakers, combining a 7.0.2-channel experience at the front, with a 4.0.2-channel audio experience at the rear for a combined 11.1.4 channel audio system.

The new Q-Series will also include two new features: Sound Elevation and Auto Volume. Sound Elevation will use the up-firing speakers to virtually direct the audio so it sounds like it’s coming from the actor on-screen, not your sound bar, while Auto-Volume aims to do away with those abrupt changes in audio like when going from a movie to an advert – levelling the audio so you’re not blasted each time. 

The Q-Series will also include the HW-Q930H with 9.1.4 channel audio, the HW-Q800H with 5.1.2 channel audio and the HW-Q600H with 3.1.2 channel audio.

Sound Tower

Party Speakers have become a lot more popular over the past few years, and Samsung’s new Sound Tower range won’t disappoint, with plenty of power and big sound to take with you on the go.

The new Sound Tower range includes the MX-ST50F with 240W of output power, offering up to 18 hours of battery life. The MX-ST40F on the other hand includes dual woofers and 12 hours of playback. 

Design wise, the MX-ST50F is the larger of the two, incorporating a telescopic handle and wheels for easy transport, while the MX-ST40F includes a convenient top carry handle to help you move it around. 

Both speakers have an IPX4 rating for splash resistance, and include Samsung Sound Tower’s Party Lights+ system offering RGB Lighting with five mood presets and six dynamic lighting patterns.  You can even spark up effects using the LED lighting including Wave, Trail, Spark, Breeze, Flow and Flare to set the mood.
