Samsung has announced its 2026 lineup of home cinema audio, making its first appearance at CES 2026 next week. The new lineup is designed to deliver a richer immersive experience alongside a “more unified multi-device performance through its next generation soundbars and Wi-Fi speakers.”
“For more than a decade, Samsung has shaped the evolution of home audio through advanced acoustics, intelligent features and thoughtful design,” said Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “We’re continuing that legacy with next-generation sound devices designed to deliver a rich, expressive performance for any space and moment.”

The flagship HW-Q990H soundbar
The new flagship soundbar is the HW-Q990H soundbar, promising the most immersive soundbar experience from Samsung so far. The innovative, integrated technology lifts the audio’s dialogue to the centre of the screen while also using a new Auto Volume feature to maintain consistent volume across all channels.
When the 7.0.2-channel soundbar is combined with the 4.0.2-channel rear speakers and dual 8-inch active subwoofer for a combined 11.1.4-channel system the result is a powerful, immersive surround sound experience. The sound is fine-tuned using AI to bring the sound up to a quality equivalent with professional home theatre systems.
Australian pricing and availability is yet to be confirmed but it will definitely be arriving as part of the 2026 lineup.
All-in-One Soundbar (HW-QS90H model)
The new HW-QS90H soundbar delivers not only a design to fit your home seamlessly but a high quality sound. The soundbar supports both wall and tabletop mounting with a built-in gyro sensor adjusting the channel distribution accordingly with the orientation it is mounted.
A 7.1.2-channel system, the HW-QS90H features nine speakers and 13 drivers along with a built-in Quad Bass Woofer system for an all-in-one sound solution.
Australian pricing and availability is yet to be confirmed but it will definitely be arriving as part of the 2026 lineup.

Samsung Wi-Fi speakers
Two new Samsung Wi-Fi speakers will also be introduced in 2026 with the “Music Studio 5” and “Music Studio 7” rounding out the Samsung audio ecosystem. These new speakers enhance the overall home theatre experience in a “timeless dot concept by renowned designer Erwan Bouroullec.”
The Music Studio 7 delivers 3.1.1-channel spatial audio through left, front, right and top-firing speakers with Samsung’s Audio Lab PAttern Control Technology reducing signal overlap for a cleaner audio experience. It can be used as a standalone unit or paired with compatible sound units or compatible Samsung TVs.
The Music Studio 5 uses a 4-inch woofer and dual tweeters for a clear, balanced sound. This smaller speaker supports Wi-Fi casting, streaming services, voice control and Bluetooth.
Samsung Australia has confirmed the Music Studio 7 and Music Studio 5 will be joining its 2026 AV line-up in Black and White models. Pricing and availability is yet to be announced.
