Ferrari GTC4Lusso T makes its Australian Debut

The GTC4Lusso T is the first four-seater Ferrari with a turbo-charged V8 engine, it’s the turbo variant of the GTC4Lusso following the launch of the V12 Lusso earlier in the year.

No other manufacturer offers the same model with a completely different drive-train, making the GTC4Lusso and Lusso T unique.

Ferrari say this car is “ideal for driving on a daily basis” and given its four-seat configuration you could even drop the kids at school if time permits.

Ferrari Australasia CEO Herbert Appleroth said “The Ferrari GTC4Lusso T has all the superior qualities Ferrari owners have come to admire in the brand and we are certain that the Ferraristi (Ferrari owners) in Australia and New Zealand are going to love this model, the first-ever Ferrari with four seats and a V8 engine,”

With four-wheel steering and a specifically calibrated control systems boost the cars responsiveness to commands this thing should stick to the corners and give the driver great confidence on the road.

Another feature are the variable torque curves (VBM) between 3rd and 7th gear, which give a consistent acceleration through the ratios – but we’ll wait to test that for ourselves:)

Inside it’s a joy for driver and passenger with the now famous and common “dual cockpit” Ferrari architecture which give a shared driving experience for both up front, and when paired with the 10.25 inch touchscreen it’s not lacking anything in terms of creature comforts.

Ferrari is going from strength to strength around the world, and in particular here in Australia.  CEO Herbert Appleroth says the company is collecting orders over and above the growth shown in the sales numbers, and vehicles like the GTC4Lusso T are going to drive even more people in to consider and likely choose a Ferrari.

Oh, and if you’re looking for a way to convince the wife – tell her like all Ferrari’s it comes with 7 years servicing costs included!

If you have to ask, you probably aren’t in the market – but the GTC4Lusso T will start you off around $503,888 – the show car we saw today has options tipping it up to $631,558
