If you were worried the future Supercars would sound as bad as the first era of the hybrid F1 cars – worry no more! Red Bull Holden Racing have released a short video so you can hear the next generation in action.
And the response is good!
This first on-track vision was shot at the Norwell Motorplex with the next generation powerplant installed in the team’s “Sandman” race demo car.
Craig Lowndes give it all, though the track is small, the sound is positive – with a solid roar coming from the 635 BHP V6 Twin Turbo.
reactions from the fans are initially positive, surprising and a good sign, given it’s the online comments that normally start the hate train:)
